Dawid Czycz (1986) lives and works in Krakow. In the years 2002–2006 he studied at the Józef Czapski State Secondary School of Arts in Krakow. Graduate of the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow under the supervision of Professor Leszek Misiak (2011). He has shown his work in many solo and group exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Recipient of Honourable Mention at the Painting Biennale Bielska Jesień 2019. Dawid Czycz’s paintings create brave new worlds in which artistic imagination makes brilliant use of contemporary pop culture imagery. Both dynamic and harmonious, the compositions explore the moods and emotions in today’s world. A painterly revolution and lots of humour.
