Lidia Krawczyk

Visual artist, designer, illustrator, curator, and lecturer. For nearly two decades, she has been engaged in interdisciplinary work in the fields of artistic practice, critical thought, and visual design. Her studies at the Institute of Audiovisual Arts at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków provided her with a strong theoretical foundation in visual culture. Completing postgraduate Gender Studies at the same university sharpened her critical thinking and sensitivity to cultural mechanisms. She holds a PhD from the Doctoral School at the University of the Commission of National Education in Kraków, where she is currently employed at the Institute of Information Studies.

Her artistic and academic research focuses on the distribution of images in digital space and the use of artificial intelligence in designing new visions of humanity. She is passionate about contemporary visual culture and emerging technological possibilities. She takes a critical stance toward Big Tech as an elite force shaping our new epistemology. Her areas of specialization include motion design, information visualization, illustration, software studies, AI aesthetics, and art-based research.
